Invinciblemode - Minecraft Missions I: Infiltrate

Dun dun.. DUN DUN dun dun, doon doon doodidleoo doodidlooo bow um, Minecraft Missions 1: Infiltrate

[keep this playing through the review]  Music

Opening Thoughts:Does anyone really watch the tom cruise Mission Impossible movies anymore?? I mean really? Every single one is a retread of the last. Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise is recruited to a Mission, something goes wrong and because Mr Cruise survived by virtue of being the biggest name character his bosses assume that he has gone rouge so he assembles a team of red shirts and Ving Rhames to clear his name and save the world, and with another one coming out this year isn't it really time to just cut and run from this franchise? So is this what we can expect from this? No, thin more along the lines of the 1960's/70's tv show, so lets sagger on in as Brine, Hero Brine.

Visual:The thing I really like about the visuals in this map is the way that they change. We start with a glass and stone 'base, move to a wooden town and end in a metal 'death ball'. each of these areas are distinct and do a good job at reflecting the mood of the map. To suggest one thing, I think this map would benefit from a tech-based texture pack being offered and the creator might want to think about that before he makes the next one. Just to mkae the whole thing look even better!
[9/10]

Challenge:The largest challenge you will find in this map is trying to to hit the pigmen, because they are everywhere! The ammount of spawers is a bit on the excessive side. But aside from that this is the usual challenge of an adventure map, mostly found in trying to interperate what the map creator wants you to do, but this process never gets obnoxious and always rmains fun.
[4/5]

Length:Very good length, it doesn't drag and never really feels flabby. If I had to say one thing it would be about making your way into the 'doom fortress', the running around and taking care of the 'water issue' is a bit tedious, but once past that the map returns to its fun nature.
[4/5]

Story:I really enjoyed the story here, it truely felt like I was a secret agent. The creator is to be congratulated for truely capturing that sence of secret and yet sophistication that was alive in the tv - series and found most often in the James Bond Films. And as Ive mentioned it a few times lets get the 'Super-villain hideout' out in the open. I loved this thing, there you are trudging around this vllage and then BAM! A giant metal ball with arms is in the middle of the Woods, it was great!!! The use of portals was clever and, as Ive said, it was a fun.
[9.5/10]

Things That Need Improvement:- Possibly a texture back for better immersion

Things That Need No-Improvement:- The 'Death Base'
- & everything else.

Final Thoughts:Ths map is traditional old fashion fun and I would suggest that you all download it for some good old fashioned espionage.

Percentage Score: 89%
